Here's a page from the agenda notes for Tuesday's County Board meeting regarding the study Commitee.
Item 9. At the last meeting the board passed Moratorium Ordinance on the issuance of livestock facility licensing. The ordinance created a “Large-Scale Livestock Study Committee” made upof nine members, six elected officials and three Bayfield County residents and property owners. The Committee will report its recommendations to the full board by January of 2016.
The six elected board members recommended are:
Board Chair: Dennis Pocernich
Vice Chair: Dee Kittleson
Health Committee Chair Designee: Fred Strand
Land and Water Conservation Committee Chair: Kenneth Jardine
Planning and Zoning Committee Chair: Brett Rondeau
County Board Supervisor, at large: Recommendation: Marco Bichanich
(Jim Crandall and Bill Bussey also submitted requests to be the member at large)
The Citizen Members recommended are:
John Sauer, MD
Dale Peacock, Town of Port Wing, Dairy Farmer
Alex Strachota, City of Washburn, Agronomist
