I am researching the Minnesota Pollution Control agency records pertaining to containers of waste shipped from the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant to Duluth for disposal in Lake Superior.
• How might I arrange to a review Army Core records regarding the transportation and disposal of the approximately 1450 barrels, crates, and tubs to Lake Superior for disposal?
o How were these items transported to Duluth?
o By military vehicles, private contractors or rail?
o Where might the manifests for these shipments be reviewed?
o Where might the chain of custody for each of barrels, tubs, or crates be located?
o Are any of these records kept in Duluth or Minneapolis?
