Monday, September 10, 7-9PM, Middle East Perspective by William Charaf. Charaf was born and grew up in Damascas , Syria. and retired to Watersmeet, MI after a long career in international sales. He will present an overview of the complex political, cultural and religious problems in the Middle East.
Wednesday, September 19, 3:15-5PM, International Peace Day - Activities for 4th and 5th graders. Northwoods Childrens Museum and Grandma’s Toy Box will be here with fun activities that promote a culture of peace. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
Wednesdays, 11:30-12:50, Many Ways of Peace yoga with certified yoga instructor Betsy Schussler. Newcomers and beginners always welcome. $8/session.
Saturday, September 1, 7-9PM, Peace Java Jam and Open Mic. Bring your instruments, your voices, poems, songs and stories promoting a culture of peace, or just come to listen. All ages are welcome.
Sunday, September 23, 6:30-8PM: What is Zen? Meditation practice and presentation with Doyo Ken Morrison, Woodruff
Mondays, 9-10AM, Walking Meditation (no practice Labor Day)
Wednesdays 7-8:30PM, Mindfulness Meditation
