Consul General Zhao Met with Mayor of Madison

On March 18, Chinese Consul General Zhao Weiping met with Mr. Paul Soglin, Mayor of Madison, the capital city of Wisconsin.
Consul General Zhao said China attaches great importance to the friendly cooperation between China and the state of Wisconsin as well as the city of Madison. The Chinese Consulate General in Chicago is ready to assist in expanding the exchanges and cooperation between China and Madison.
Soglin said that in recent years, the number of Chinese nationals and students in Madison has been growing, which is a testimony to the ever closer relations between Madison and China. He said that he will continue to promote the friendly exchanges and cooperation with China.
